Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Performance Improvement to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, contractual, and best-practice standards. This role supervises and drives performance improvement projects, trains providers on reporting critical incidents, and coordinates with the Director of Quality Management.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of behavioral health experience, including

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, psychology, counseling, human services or related field.
• Three years in behavioral health; at least 2 years in community mental health; two years in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of critical/sentinel events and classify them.
• Develop and update procedures for reporting incidents and events.
• Provide trainings on critical/sentinel events for provider network.
• Oversee performance improvement projects and monitor outcomes.
