Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network seeks a Clinical Specialist to drive performance improvement and ensure provider compliance with federal and state standards. You will review sentinel events, develop corrective actions, and train providers on incident reporting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years in behavioral healthcare, including community mental health, with licensure or credentialing eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a related field.
• Three years of behavioral healthcare experience, including two in community mental health.
• Licensure: LMSW, LPC or LLP with QMHP/QIDP/QCMHP credentialing eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Reviews critical and sentinel events and documents findings per CMS and MDHHS requirements.
• Develops and updates procedures for reporting critical incidents and sentinel events.
• Provides training on Critical/Sentinel Event reporting to the provider network.
• Ensures confidential handling and proper MH-WIN module documentation.
