Job summary

MateCareer is seeking a Clinical Coordinator Department Manager to lead the Clinical Coordination team, ensuring accurate provider schedules across markets. This remote U.S. role emphasizes leadership, workload management, and cross-department collaboration to sustain scheduling performance.

The role requires 5+ years in dental/medical scheduling with at least 2 years of leadership, experience with CareStack and Google Suite, and a track record of improving workflows and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in dental, medical, or clinical scheduling/coordination; minimum 2 years leadership experience.
• Systems: Experience with CareStack or similar EMR platforms and Google Suite required.
• Knowledge: Understanding of medical/dental workflows, provider scheduling, multi-facility coordination, and insurance verification processes.
• Leadership: Proven success managing remote teams, delegating work, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Clinical Coordinators with clear priorities, delegation, accountability, and follow-through.
• Oversee scheduling across markets based on provider days, appointment volume, and workload.
• Monitor schedule health and emerging risks; escalate barriers to the appropriate owner.
• Coordinate onboarding and competency development for new team members.
• Provide weekly insights, actions taken, and performance updates to leadership.
