Qualifications

• Creates billing plans with Medicare Coverage Analysis documentation for coverage determinations.
• Reviews whether studies are qualified clinical trials under applicable regulations.
• Reviews first patient enrollment to ensure Medicare Coverage Analysis accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Creates billing plan, including Medicare Coverage Analysis documentation, in alignment with the Clinical Trial Agreement, budget, and informed consent pursuant to regulations for coverage determinations.
• Coordinates revision of approval documents per clarifications from study team.
• Conducts review of research studies to determine if they are qualified clinical trials pursuant to appropriate regulations.
• Reviews first patient enrollment in clinical trials to ensure quality and accuracy of Medicare Coverage Analysis documentation.
• Conducts facility review of submitted studies and evaluates protocols for required clinical services.
