Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time remote position. The role focuses on pharmacotherapy outcomes, medication dispensing, and collaboration with care teams to support patients with complex needs.

You will use proprietary software and provide guidance to patients and providers. The ideal candidate holds a NJ license, has 2+ years in pharmacy distribution/packaging, and may have experience in geriatrics or chronic care.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels with customers and providers.
• Experience with pharmacy software and process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and project management skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines with quality.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact for patients, families, pharmacists, clients, and providers to address medication-related problems and questions.
• Explains care plan options and medication use, side effects, and contraindications and documents patient care decisions.
• Plans, implements, and maintains procedures for assessing, compounding, packaging, and labeling medications in compliance with policy and law.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians to ensure medication reconciliation, ordering, inventory management, and labeling comply with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provides timely review, preparation for prescription orders and dispensing with accurate patient profiles and proper billing/record keeping.
• Uses professional judgment to assess new medication requests and changes and communicates recommendations to care providers.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and internal policies; reports HIPAA, QA, and Fraud, Waste and Abuse issues.
