OpenLoop seeks a Clinical Informaticist to join our remote team, serving as SME for product and project teams and developing clinical data sets powering decision support across our platform. You will translate clinical requirements into data specifications, validate features, and collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure safe, meaningful data-driven workflows.

5+ years of clinical practice and hands-on clinical informatics experience required; strong SQL, EHR,

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted clinical license and board certification in the relevant discipline.
• Formal training in clinical informatics strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience.
• 5+ years in hands-on clinical informatics work (data development/analysis/maintenance).
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and multiple EHR systems.
• Excellent communication skills bridging clinical and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical SME for product and project teams on workflows and data.
• Design, build, test, and update clinical data assets for decision support.
• Translate clinical requirements into workflow and data specifications; validate features.
• Analyze clinical data to identify gaps and improve decision support logic.
• Review workflow app specs to provide clinical informatics input as SME for PMs.
• Maintain mappings to standardized vocabularies for interoperability.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams to ensure safe, meaningful data-driven features.
