Job summary

Workana LLC seeks a Clinical Data Scientist to lead digital twin design and trial simulations in a fully remote, international setting. The role combines ML, statistics, and mechanistic modeling to optimize trial design and patient outcomes, collaborating with physicians, biostatisticians, and data engineers.

You will integrate multi-modal data, ensure model interpretability, and support regulatory-facing evidence through robust analysis workflows in an English-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a quantitative field as listed.
• Experience developing digital twins or clinical trial simulations.
• Proficient in Python and healthcare data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with trial experts and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, calibration, and validation of digital twins using diverse data sources.
• Combine ML, statistical modeling, causal inference, and mechanistic approaches for models.
• Partner with trial teams to evaluate protocol design options and endpoints.
• Analyze multi-modal datasets including trials, biomarkers, real-world data, and omics.
• Collaborate with data engineering to build reproducible pipelines and datasets.
• Work with biostatisticians to ensure outputs complement trial-design methods.
• Ensure model quality, interpretability, auditability, and defined decision contexts.
