Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking an Clinical Systems Analyst II to support core health-system applications, enabling cost-efficient, high-quality patient care. You will implement, administer, and support assigned systems with guidance from senior staff, with a strong focus on Epic modules and ancillary systems across departments.

Responsibilities include tier-2 incident support, daily production monitoring, and coordinating upgrades and changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years of directly related work experience.
  • Knowledge of Epic software and population health modules.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-2 support of application incidents with 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
  • Mentor junior team members to resolve incidents, maintenance items and enhancements.
  • Perform daily monitoring of applications in production.
  • Coordinate application support with Infrastructure, Integration, Reporting and help desk teams.
  • Lead small to medium software upgrade initiatives or workflow enhancements, including design, build and test.
  • Modify tables and master files under senior guidance.
  • Implement changes using documented procedures compliant with policies.
  • Take ownership of low to medium complexity issues and liaise with customers to resolve them.
  • Develop requirements and test cases for new or enhanced functionality.
