Job summary

Santa Cruz Community Health in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst II to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for OCHIN Epic and related clinical applications. The role collaborates with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to investigate issues, optimize workflows, and support technology initiatives that improve patient care and efficiency.

This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Lead Clinical Application Analyst, with hours 8:00am-5:00pm and occasional

Qualifications

Associate degree in IT, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or related field with 2+ years supporting healthcare tech.
Experience providing Tier 2/3 app support and troubleshooting complex workflows.
Experience with EHR systems and clinical applications.
Ability to analyze business processes and suggest tech-based improvements.
Experience creating technical documentation and end-user materials.
Strong written and interpersonal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for OCHIN Epic and related clinical apps via ticketing, phone, email, chat, and in-person.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and workflow issues; document findings.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
Analyze clinical workflows to identify optimization and automation opportunities.
Develop and maintain workflow documentation, test plans, and end-user resources.
