Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our Milwaukee-based team. In a customer service environment you will triage members, process referrals and prior authorizations, and coordinate with hospitals and the clinical team to arrange services.

You will handle member inquiries, provide information on network services, and ensure compliance with state contracts and CMS requirements while maintaining a focus on quality, efficiency and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of administrative work experience.
• At least 1 year in the healthcare industry.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and various web apps.

Responsibilities

• Handle initial triage and intake of members.
• Manage referrals, prior authorizations and member requests.
• Coordinate with hospitals and the clinical team to obtain services.
• Provide information on network services and transfer to clinical staff.
• Maintain compliance with state contracts and CMS requirements.
