Job summary

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) seeks a Client Services Liaison to provide information and referral counseling, intake and screening for the Elderly and Disabled Waiver and Home and Community-Based Services programs in the Atlanta region. This role will guide older adults, caregivers and the public to available resources and support collaboration with aging services partners.

Fully remote after an introductory period, with occasional in-office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, gerontology or related field.
• One year of related counseling, client advocacy or information/referral experience.
• Master’s degree in social work, Gerontology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and face-to-face consultation to determine program eligibility and resource options.
• Conduct intake and screening for Elderly and Disabled Waiver and Home and Community-Based Services programs.
• Document client interactions in the management system with assessments, needs and referrals.
• Liaise with community partners to improve access to services and resources.
• Follow-up to ensure resources are received and outcomes achieved.
• Generate customized client reports and support agency goals.
