Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Client Pricing Specialist to implement, document, and maintain client rates and fee arrangements. You will work with partners and departments to manage rate requests, perform financial analysis, and support annual pricing initiatives in a remote role.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, experience with Aderant and Intapp, and familiarity with AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and reporting within a professional services firm.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of two years of either legal billing, pricing, or financial reporting and analysis experience in a professional services environment required.
• This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to a firm office required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, and present financial data accurately required.
• Significant experience with Aderant Classic and/or Aderant Expert, including rate setup and maintenance.
• Experience with Intapp Intake.
• Experience with Litera Foundation Finance and/or Foundation Scoping (Clocktimizer).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Harvey, or similar generative AI tools, including basic prompting skills and the ability to responsibly evaluate and use AI-generated outputs to support research, analysis, reporting, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and set up standard rates for new timekeepers.
• Review and process Accounting Restrictions rate requests.
• Review and approve fee arrangements for New Business Intake (NBI).
• Review, document and set up fee arrangements for newly opened clients and matters.
• Review and process ad hoc rate change requests.
• Set up and maintain budget tracking for Fixed Fee and Fee Cap matters.
• Review Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and Engagement Letters for financial terms.
• Maintain database of client advance rate change notice requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate client advance rate change notices.
• Coordinate annual review of Firm override rate arrangements.
• Maintain accurate rates and fee arrangement documentation.
• Collaborate with Client Pricing Analysts on rate and pricing matters.
• Monitor the Pricing inbox and provide ad hoc reporting and support.
• Support Pricing and Finance special projects and priority initiatives.
