Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a Client Manager Associate for the Select Market who will support renewal processes and identify Add Issue opportunities. You will generate plan options and quotes, communicate renewal details clearly, and collaborate with Sales Consultants to drive retention and growth.

Remote role with hybrid possibilities for those near the Greater Carolina area. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of industry experience, a BA/BS or equivalent, and strong skills in negotiation,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with producers, clients and internal partners.
• Strong consultative, negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills with a sales orientation.
• Ability to review renewal rates, options, and add-issue quotes.
• Solid knowledge of group insurance products, contracts and underwriting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide renewal rate relief for the Select Market segment through underwriting negotiation and plan options.
• Identify Add Issue opportunities by generating reports and collaborating with Sales Consultants.
• Follow up with producers regarding Renewal/Add Issue status and assist in closing the sale.
• Review Experience Reports and deliver appropriate reports to the Sales Consultant/Planholder.
• Serve as SME on Guardian systems (Salesforce, CPS, Panorama) and related workflows.
