Xformative Payment Systems is a late-stage startup focused on card-based payment capabilities for healthcare and benefits. We are seeking a Client Project Manager to lead onboarding and implementation of new client contracts from kickoff to go-live, shaping the implementation function for scale and excellence.

As the first Project Manager of Client Implementation, you will establish best practices, processes, and a client-focused function that delivers an exceptional experience while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–8 years of experience in project management, client implementation, operations, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of new client programs, managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies from initiation to go-live.
• Serve as primary liaison with client stakeholders during onboarding to gather and validate requirements.
• Assess alignment between client requirements and existing systems; identify gaps and enhancements.
• Convert gaps into actionable workstreams and coordinate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to drive changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
• Coordinate onboarding with partners (sponsor bank, network, vendors) ensuring docs, approvals, and setup.
• Manage program setup and readiness activities, including configuration, workflow validation, and preparedness for launch.
• Track and communicate status, risks, and milestones; proactively address issues.
• Ensure all docs and readiness criteria are completed before go-live.
• Support transition from implementation to ongoing operations with seamless handoff to relevant teams.
• Maintain organized project documentation to support transparency and future reference.
