Paylocity is seeking a Client Funds Accounting Specialist to reconcile client-held funds accounts, monitor bank activity, and resolve discrepancies. The role is fully remote within the United States, requiring five days of availability.

Responsibilities include daily bank reconciliations, validating transactions, and collaborating with internal teams to improve processes. Strong Excel and banking operations experience are valued.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; HS diploma required
• 2-5 years’ experience in payroll service or banking operations strongly desired
• MasterTax, WEX, CobraPoint experience a plus
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS applications including Excel and Access
• High level of integrity and teamwork

Aufgaben

• Perform daily bank reconciliation for payroll/tax/benefit accounts.
• Review and validate financial transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and cash balance accounts.
• Monitor daily/weekly cash balances by client and total client base.
• Make adjustments to cash as indicated by reports.
• Collaborate with internal partners to coordinate fixes to systems.
• Reconcile incoming wires/ACHs for payroll/tax accounts.
• Provide proof of payments to the Tax Department.
• Assist with monthly financial reconciliations.
• Monitor CFA team email accounts and respond timely.
• Suggest process improvements and write procedures.
• Support new business initiatives.
