NeoGenomics Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Temp Client Collections Specialist II to manage client-billed AR and drive timely payments from clients across the United States.

This remote role emphasizes accurate documentation and cross-team coordination to meet cash and aging objectives. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in client collections, healthcare billing experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills to maintain professional client relationships while ensuring HIPAA

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in client collections or accounts receivable in healthcare or related industry.
• Experience handling aging portfolios and B2B collections preferred.
• Healthcare billing experience desired in laboratory/diagnostic settings.
• Strong client service, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and billing systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of client-billed AR and prioritize collection activities.
• Contact clients to obtain payment status, secure commitments and resolve overdue balances.
• Review aging reports, invoices, statements, and notes before outreach.
• Identify invoice disputes and payment barriers to determine appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with Cash Application, Billing, Sales, and other teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Document collection contacts and outcomes accurately in designated systems.
• Monitor payment commitments and follow up on missed or partial payments.
• Provide supporting documentation to facilitate payment and respond to client inquiries.
• Escalate high-risk or unresponsive accounts per procedures.
• Support month-end collection activities and cash flow reporting.
