NeoGenomics is seeking a Temp Client Collections Specialist II to manage client-billed accounts receivable and drive timely payments. The ideal candidate will work remotely within the United States and collaborate with Cash Application, Billing, Sales, and Client Services to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow.

The role emphasizes maintaining confidentiality, meeting aging objectives, and delivering professional, solutions-oriented client service in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in client collections, accounts receivable or healthcare billing preferred.
• Ability to balance payment recovery, account resolution and professional client relationships.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client-billed accounts receivable and prioritize collections by balance and aging.
• Contact clients to obtain payment status and secure commitments.
• Review aging reports, invoices, statements, and contracts before outreach.
• Identify disputes, missing documents, pricing questions, and payment barriers.
• Coordinate with Cash Application, Billing, Sales, and other teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Document collection actions and outcomes in designated systems accurately.
• Monitor commitments and follow up on missed or partial payments.
• Provide invoices, statements, and supporting documentation to facilitate payment.
• Research unidentified or misapplied payments and assist in resolution.
• Escalate high-risk accounts per procedures and support client reviews.
