Job summary

Nimbl is seeking a Client Manager to oversee monthly closes for a portfolio of growing small business clients. You will be the trusted point of contact, supported by Accounting Specialists who handle delegated tasks, while you finalize remaining work and deliver client-ready financials.

You will train and document workflows, ensure accuracy, and maintain clear communication to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of small business accounting experience.
• Experience with construction/real estate industry accounting.
• Strong with spreadsheets (Google Sheets) and accounting software.
• Ability to delegate, document processes, and manage time budgets.
• Available to work during regular US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly close from start to finish for a portfolio of clients.
• Lead client relationship management and ensure timely, accurate financials.
• Create, document, and train workflows for bookkeepers and staff.
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy.
