Job summary

Burkland Associates is seeking a Client Accounting Division Manager to lead a self-contained business unit, owning the division’s P&L and staffing while guiding technical work and client advisory services for startups.

You will supervise accounting professionals, manage client relationships, and push for proactive advisory alongside delivering high-quality financial statements and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Progressive professional experience in accounting and advisory services.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the division's P&L and staffing responsibilities.
• Lead and coach the division's team, set expectations, and provide feedback.
• Maintain client relationships and escalation pathways for issues.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost methods, and GAAP reporting.
• Drive growth, cross-sell opportunities, and collaboration with other service lines.
• Ensure delivery of proactive advisory in addition to reporting.
