Farmers Insurance is hiring for a BW Claims Customer Service Associate. This remote position initially supports the Florida location with inbound calls, guiding customers through auto and homeowner claims, and coordinating services like roadside assistance.

Strong communication, English fluency, and accurate documentation are essential. The role requires a High School Diploma and offers training, a structured workday, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 90% accuracy.
• Customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Remote contact center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inbound telephone inquiries in a Claims Contact Center.
• Initiates auto and homeowner claims by obtaining preliminary loss information from agents, insureds and third parties.
• Provide customers with an explanation of the claim process.
• May authorize services such as roadside assistance and rental cars.
• Document each interaction with care and ensure accuracy in the claim file.
• Maintain knowledge through intermittent training and apply new information daily.
