Alight Solutions Ltd in Washington, DC is seeking a results-driven Claims Operations Manager to lead a cross-functional team delivering on SLAs and client commitments. You will drive strategic oversight, establish KPIs, and champion process improvements across STD/LTD product and leave programs.

The role emphasizes accountability, talent development, and high-quality service delivery in a dynamic environment. Occasional travel to client sites and offices may be required.

Formación

• Leadership experience of 3+ years in STD/LTD product and claims management.
• Ability to manage day-to-day execution and projects to achieve goals.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to prioritise and assign work.
• Advanced computer skills with Windows and MS Office.
• Technical proficiency with data, technology and business tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate communication among Customer Care, Administrative and Clinical teams across stakeholders.
• Ensure legal compliance and confidentiality by timely notifications.
• Review documentation to support claim approvals and denials and respond to audits.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for Leave of Absence programs and guidance on policies.
• Lead a virtual team, define roles and establish direct accountabilities.
• Provide ongoing client support with diagnostic skills to identify root causes.
• Manage team performance against KPIs and service guarantees.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including workload distribution and performance management.
• Respond to client inquiries with professional communication; participate in meetings.
• Monitor staff schedule adherence and communicate process changes.
