• Leadership experience of 3+ years in STD/LTD product and claims management.
• Proven ability to manage day‑to‑day execution and projects to achieve business goals.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Advanced computer skills with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Technical proficiency using data and business tools to drive decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
• Creative agility to address complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead a virtual team, define roles and accountabilities to achieve business goals.
• Facilitate communication among Customer Care, Administrative, and Clinical teams.
• Ensure compliance and confidentiality with timely notifications to employees and clients.
• Review documentation to support claim approvals/denials and respond to audits.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Leave of Absence programs and advise on policies.
• Provide client support and diagnose root causes to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure service guarantees are met.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including workload, performance, and staff development.
