Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Claims Adjuster to support operations across Welkom and other regions. You will investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlements for insurance claims from your home office, using strong communication and analytical skills to ensure fair outcomes.

You will manage a caseload, document findings in the claims management system, and collaborate with claimants and internal teams to meet service level agreements while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation procedures, and settlement practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Must have a dedicated home office setup conducive to remote work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into insurance claims, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing policy documents.
• Assess the extent of damages or losses sustained by policyholders and determine the appropriate course of action for settlement.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, ensuring fairness and compliance with policy terms and company guidelines.
• Document all claim activities, findings, and settlement details meticulously in the claims management system.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with claimants, legal representatives, and internal teams throughout the claims process.
• Manage a caseload of claims effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
