Qualifications

• Licensed in NY and resident state
• Detail oriented with high accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability for insureds and colleagues
• Conduct timely investigations for coverage determinations
• Make timely and appropriate contacts and determine investigation level
• Determine exposure, set reserves, and adjust reserves as needed
• Negotiate proper settlement within authority and recommend disposition of claims
• Pursue subrogation when appropriate
• Provide backup support to claim representatives handling calls in the queue
