Job summary

American International Group (AIG) is seeking a Fast Track Claims Adjuster for Auto PD to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve auto liability claims in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes timely, fair resolutions and empathetic service to policyholders and vendors.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2+ years of claims experience, and P&C licenses or the ability to obtain them within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance claims, customer service, collision estimating, or related field preferred.
• Property and casualty licenses required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of automobile repair processes and vehicle damage evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through final resolution.
• Review coverage, determine liability as applicable, and evaluate vehicle damages.
• Coordinate inspections with repair facilities, appraisers, rental vendors, and customers.
• Communicate clearly with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal partners.
• Review estimates, photographs, repair documentation, and total loss evaluations.
