Job summary

MSI seeks an experienced Claims Examiner II to manage complex property claims with technical underwriting knowledge and a service-focused approach. You will analyze policies, determine coverage, and work with carriers, counsel and SIU to resolve claims efficiently.

With a Property & Casualty license and 5–9 years in claims, you will set reserves, negotiate settlements, oversee vendors, pursue subrogation, and identify fraud indicators, while delivering Best-In-Class service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 5–9 years of claims experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes insurance policies and documents to determine coverage.
• Investigates and analyzes claim information to determine liability.
• Handles high-complexity first-party property claims.
• Assists in suits, mediations and arbitrations with Counsel.
• Sets timely reserves per reserving philosophy and monitors expenses.
