Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a senior claims leader to oversee open claims, coordinate with carrier partners and underwriting teams, and drive strategic improvements in claims operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a claims management capacity.
• Experience with professional liability, general liability, or other specialty liability claims.
• Proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for claims operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Provide leadership to claims managers and teams, fostering high performance.
• Oversee complex claims cases and ensure resolution aligns with standards and regulations.
• Monitor claims metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with underwriting and risk management to align claims handling with objectives.
• Manage department budgets, resources, and staffing for operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing claims practices.
• Build relationships with reinsurers, legal teams, and external vendors.
