California Dental Association is seeking a Claims Representative II, Professional Liability for a remote-first role with occasional travel. Opportunity supports CA, OR, WA, and NV preferences and offers a salary range of $74,200 - $92,700 per year.

The role focuses on investigation, coverage determinations, and coordination with adjusters and legal counsel. The position requires at least three years in liability claims, with preference for professional liability experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of insurance experience in a liability claims role; or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in professional liability and/or general liability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to organize and prioritize caseload.
• Proficient with MS Windows Office and database systems.

Responsabilités

• Identify, evaluate and determine coverage-related issues with supervisor guidance.
• Investigate cause and origin of loss; coordinate adjusters, counsel and vendors to adjust claims.
• Assist in litigation management, defense strategies and budgets under supervisor direction.
• Maintain diary system for assigned cases; document claim files and communications.
• Review new claims and prepare requests for authority from supervisor/Board as needed.
• Attend meetings, seminars and training to stay current in risk management and claims practices.
