Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner to analyze liability claims for our clients and determine benefits due, while ensuring timely adjudication per service expectations.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of claims management experience, strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, and are eligible for licensure across states. The role supports a hybrid/remote work setup with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education & licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensing / Jurisdiction Knowledge: All states, Home State licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally.
