Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd. seeks a seasoned Claims Examiner to analyze liability and litigated claims across multiple states. You’ll assess exposure, determine benefits, and negotiate settlements with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Multi-state licensing knowledge; NY licensing preferred, must obtain within 6 months.
• Travel required to support mediations and trainings, ~10% or less.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through action plans to determine exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions professionally.
