Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a civil/structural drafter/designer for industrial facilities. You will create and refine drawings for foundations, grading, piping, steel racks, and supports, while reviewing vendor drawings for accuracy and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires hands-on field observations, redline updates, and adherence to safety standards. A remote work setup is available for candidates within the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of civil and structural drafting and design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/Plant 3D, Revit, Civil 3D, and CadWorx.
• Experience with 3D structural modeling and field drawings.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to industrial client sites.
• TWIC or ability to obtain TWIC after hiring.
• Must pass post-offer drug and alcohol test per regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural inspections and drawings for steel and fireproofing.
• Prepare conceptual drawings and material take-offs for concrete and steel.
• Develop detailed civil/structural drawings for industrial facilities.
• Review vendor drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Update drawings from redlines and field observations.
• Conduct field engineering activities and site surveys as required.
• Identify errors and quality issues in drawings and docs.
• Participate in weekly design meetings to discuss progress.
• Review and update CAD standards for consistency and efficiency.
• Mentor junior designers and provide technical oversight.
• Follow safety requirements around existing equipment and operations.
