Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Civil Engineer – Site Design & Drafting based in the United States. This remote role targets a civil engineering professional with site design, drafting, and U.S.

construction practices, supporting real estate development projects from planning through construction. You will translate surveys into construction-ready plans, handle grading, drainage, stormwater, and earthwork calculations, and collaborate with contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in civil engineering, site design, and building plans.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HydroCAD/StormCAD is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil site plans for self-storage, industrial, and multifamily developments.
• Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility plans.
• Perform drainage, earthwork calculations, and quantity takeoffs.
• Apply value-engineering to reduce site costs while meeting requirements.
• Produce architectural and building drawings including floor plans and elevations.
• Support bidding, permitting coordination, and contractor communication.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to progress projects.
• Provide regular schedule updates across multiple projects.
