Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Civil Rights Compliance specialist to support investigations, data collection, and regulatory reporting within the Civil Rights team. The role is fully remote for qualified states and requires 3+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

You will coordinate intake, track cases, and prepare the Wisconsin State Civil Rights Compliance Plan, collaborating with Clinical Risk and Patient Experience to improve equity and accessibility across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related clinical discipline.
• 3+ years of cumulative experience in civil rights, disability rights, investigations, clinical or administrative health care, and policy/program development, with a focus on equity, accessibility, and compliance.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and consult on complex civil rights and accessibility issues in clinical and organizational health care settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with diplomacy when engaging stakeholders on sensitive civil rights matters.

Responsibilities

• Support and conduct investigations and resolutions of civil rights and language access complaints.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to civil rights concerns.
• Maintain confidential documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead tracking, analysis, and reporting of civil rights complaints for enterprise insights.
