Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Civil Project Manager with a strong geotechnical background to oversee planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects from a remote setting. The ideal candidate will manage distributed teams, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and maintain high quality standards across geotechnical investigations and earthworks.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Registration with ECSA desirable.
• 8+ years in civil engineering project management; 4+ years in geotechnical projects.

Mansioni

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects with geotechnical focus.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Lead remote project teams and coordinate geotechnical engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee procurement for geotechnical investigations and earthworks.
• Ensure adherence to engineering codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications with regular updates.
• Facilitate virtual meetings, design reviews and problem-solving sessions.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure QA/QC throughout the project lifecycle.
