Job summary

Safeguard Law Group is seeking a Texas-based remote Paralegal to support attorneys in civil litigation matters from a remote location. The role requires drafting legal documents, strong writing, and the ability to handle a heavy workload while maintaining professionalism.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of civil litigation experience, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and proficiency with case management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year civil litigation experience
• Exceptional legal writing skills
• Superior organizational and time-management skills
• Must be computer literate: Ability to easily learn the Firm’s case management software
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and outside parties
• Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Paralegal Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assisting the firm’s attorneys in managing a high volume of litigation matters
• Drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, etc.
• Communication with clients and opposing counsel
• Research with regard to simple and complex legal matters
• Administrative responsibilities such as client intake, organizing, and record keeping.
