Kiernan Trebach LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a fully remote role supporting the Connecticut practice. The candidate will assist with civil litigation, discovery, and trial preparation while maintaining confidentiality and billable-hour targets.

Ideal applicants have 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong organization, and proficiency with NetDocuments and Microsoft Office. Connecticut practice knowledge is a plus; remote collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of litigation paralegal experience in civil litigation.
• Familiarity with CT Superior Court procedures and Practice Book deadlines.
• Experience with discovery, medical records, and electronic court filing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; NetDocuments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with civil litigation phases, incl. discovery, case prep, depositions, and trial prep.
• Prepare, serve, organize, and track discovery requests and responses.
• Monitor discovery deadlines and medical records; prepare chronologies.
• Coordinate experts' materials and deadlines; maintain files in NetDocuments.
• Maintain accurate time entries and meet billable-hour targets.
• Communicate case status with attorneys and team; support remote work environment.
