The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in MS Office and Lexis Nexis, and able to coordinate complex discovery with deadlines in the DMV region.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Lexis Nexis experience required.
• Experience obtaining medical records via authorizations/subpoenas; DMV region preferred.
• Demonstrated experience following the legal process in the preparation of subpoenas in DC, Maryland, and Virginia is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proactive work style with initiative to anticipate attorney needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule IMEs and docket searches.
• Retain experts and coordinate documents for review.
• Gather medical records and discovery via subpoenas, authorizations, and services.
• Track, organize, and prepare discovery materials for counsel and witnesses.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation.
• Maintain files in the document management system.
• Perform general office administration.
