Job summary

Mission Recruiting, LLC is seeking exceptional litigation attorneys to support a busy civil defense practice with a fully remote, flexible schedule. This role prioritizes strong research and writing skills and the ability to manage a high volume of California state and federal litigation matters.

Qualifications

Approximately 3–6 years of litigation experience preferred.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and consistently high-quality work product.
Ability to work independently while remaining receptive to supervision and constructive feedback.
Prior public entity defense experience is welcome but not required.
Trial and deposition experience is valued but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research involving California state and federal litigation.
Draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
Assist with ongoing litigation matters and deadlines.
Participate in courtroom proceedings, client communications, or attorney mentorship as appropriate to experience and skill set.
