Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Southern California seeks an Associate Attorney. This role offers the flexibility of remote, hybrid, or in-office work arrangements, allowing candidates to choose the environment that best suits their productivity and lifestyle.

You will draft motions, handle discovery, and represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations, while maintaining client and insurer confidence and providing strategic guidance based on litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience, or 5+ years for Senior Associate.
• Proven ability to draft and argue motions.
• Familiarity with the California court system.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Maintain client and insurer confidence throughout the litigation process.
• Provide strategic legal counsel based on litigation experience.
• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets.
