Job summary

Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team. You will handle a variety of matters, including general liability, personal injury, and contracts, from inception to resolution.

The role offers hands-on experience with research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and court appearances. You will work with a diverse client base and have opportunities for mentorship by experienced partners, with remote and hybrid options available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience in general liability, construction, personal injury, contracts, or commercial disputes.
• Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery requests, motions and briefs, taking depositions, and appearing in court.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Fully remote and hybrid options available; remote candidates must reside in Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Prepare pleadings, propound and respond to discovery, draft motions and briefs.
• Argue motions in court, attend mediations, and participate in trial.
• Mentor junior associates and supervise law clerks.
