Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a mid-level Civil Estimator / Project Support Specialist to manage estimating end-to-end and provide light remote project support. The role emphasizes identifying bid opportunities, takeoffs, and coordinating with subs. You will work with leadership in a fast-paced environment, align with Eastern Time hours, and start immediately with a two-week notice.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of hands-on civil estimating experience (Division 2 / Site Work).
• Deep understanding of site prep, grading, utility installation, and demolition.
• Reads civil/architectural drawings with minimal guidance.
• Proficient with Google Drive; familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate end-to-end: takeoffs, labor, equipment, and materials for Site Work.
• Identify bid opportunities and prepare competitive proposals from takeoff to bid close.
• Coordinate with subs and vendors; track submittals and revisions.
• Support post-award admin and maintain digital project files.
