• Experience with Federal Forestry, utility, and civil projects.
• Proficient in estimation and scheduling software.
• Ability to prepare proposals and present to clients.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of civil construction techniques.
• Experience in earthwork, utilities, drilling and concrete.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced PC skills.

• Use unit cost modeling tools and drive improvement initiatives.
• Manage preconstruction services across project stages.
• Prepare proposals for new business and client presentations.
• Meet with clients to establish needs and constraints.
• Gather construction documents and specs for estimates.
• Assemble bid package documents before due dates.
• Develop accurate estimates and schedules using tools and best practices.
• Estimate civil projects including earthwork, utilities, drilling and concrete.
• Produce accurate estimates for large or complex projects.
• Coordinate pricing development and apply to takeoffs and cost allowances.
• Consult with project personnel to resolve issues.
• Control estimating process and assist go/no-go decisions.
• Resolve plan/spec issues and participate in post-bid revisions.
