Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician to support mission critical data center projects from our Community Development group. You’ll draft civil plans, perform grading analyses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geographic regions.

A technical degree and 3+ years drafting experience are preferred. Remote work is possible for the right candidate; typical office setting with occasional field involvement.

Qualifications

• Proactive, solution-oriented team player with civil site design knowledge.
• Strong drafting and visualization skills with CAD software.
• Ability to work with virtual coordination across regions and tight schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects with engineers, PMs, and design team members.
• Deliver high-quality drafting of drawings and exhibits.
• Maintain and develop drafting standards; mentor staff; implement CAD tech.
• Draft Civil 3D plans for civil projects.
• Perform site grading analyses and prepare plans/profiles; quantities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design intent.
