Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Requires 15 years of experience; typical incumbent has 20-25 years.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License required, with ability to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions.
• Expert knowledge of key design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads functional teams (e.g., civil engineering discipline) for projects.
• Directs research and solves unprecedented technical problems of considerable scope and complexity.
• Represents and defends company's technical work to client/regulatory agencies and others.
• Provides technical direction throughout the company within field of expertise.
• Leads initiatives with considerable risk and complexity; develops the related strategy for execution.
• Interfaces with senior technical managers and all levels of management.
