Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed coursework in Civil Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required at hire.
• EIT certification or progress toward PE preferred.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience; land/site development preferred.
• Experience with drainage and BMP design in land development.
• Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD and related software.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques on moderately complex projects.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Complete civil engineering work for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Prepare reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects.
• Work with senior engineers, clients and teams on project issues.
