Bowman is seeking a Civil Engineer I to join our Parsippany, NJ team. You will contribute to land and site development projects under supervision, applying standard engineering techniques and collaborating with senior staff.

The role emphasizes growth, multi-disciplinary coordination, and timely problem solving. Proficiency with Civil3D, AutoCAD, and related tools is desirable. Salary range $69,949–$87,436 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline required at time of employment.
• EIT preferred.
• Entry level position; land/site development industry a plus.
• Land Development experience and skills; drainage and BMP design preferred.
• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD and related civil engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Complete civil engineering work for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Assist with the development of plans, specifications, and reports.
• Complete design work and calculations using computer-aided software.
• Provide technical assistance in resolving design problems, including field investigation or inspections, and coordination of design aspects.
