Responsibilities

• Complete highway design engineering on simple to moderately complex projects with guidance on more complex work.
• Generate and evaluate geometric design alternatives and develop sound design concepts.
• Develop PS&E packages clearly defining work, bid-ready and constructible.
• Interpret and apply laws, regulations, and guidance related to highway design.
• Attend meetings with supervisors on highway design matters with external contacts.
• Prepare field review and technical reports; support projects from scoping through construction.
