Are you a Civil Engineer looking for a remote role? This is a great opportunity to work from home whilst growing and progressing within a well-respected consultancy. This consultancy is keen to take on an Engineer who specialises in Infrastructure and drainage to join their team.

The role includes:

1. Preparation of site appraisals
2. Undertaking feasibility and pre-planning assessments of engineering infrastructure
3. Peer review of documents, designs, and drawings completed by other team members to ensure consistent high quality and compliance with design standards, industry best practices, contractual obligations, and client expectations
4. Liaison with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
5. Attendance at design meetings, site meetings, and undertaking site inspections
6. Ensuring that all work is carried out in full compliance with the company’s Quality Management System
7. Providing technical guidance, support, and training to junior colleagues, and assisting in mentoring and development of others where practicable
8. Working in both supervised and unsupervised environments, ensuring the technical content of all work is correct and completed within agreed timescales and budgets
9. Reporting to the appropriate team leader on technical issues related to project work
10. Collaborating closely with team members and other disciplines, with an understanding of their roles
11. Producing CAD and 3D modelling outputs in conjunction with other Project Engineers/Technicians, ensuring quality control for CAD and 3D modelling production to company standards and compliance with project and BIM protocols
12. Undertaking other tasks as delegated by Project Engineers/Managers
13. Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety Policy

What you need to succeed:

• UK design consultancy experience across various sectors
• Strong client liaison experience and commercial awareness
• Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage, or their equivalents
• Hands-on approach with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management, and delivery
• Good organization, communication, and presentation skills
• At least 3+ years of industry experience and an aspiration to start a new and exciting chapter in your career
