Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned CICS Mainframe Systems Programmer to ensure stability, availability, and performance of CICS services within a IBM Mainframe environment. You will oversee system programming, deployments, incident resolution, and collaboration with development teams to deliver robust, secure solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with CICS TS, RACF/ACF2 security, and Sysplex configurations, along with capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Experience in mainframe CICS administration and support in large environments.
• Ability to install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot CICS TS.
• Proven exposure to Sysplex environments and HA configurations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, maintain, and support CICS systems software.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and incident resolution for CICS-based applications.
• Lead problem determination, root cause analysis, and recovery during incidents.
• Design and implement improvements for availability, performance, and efficiency.
• Maintain security controls using RACF/ACF2 and manage access.
• Collaborate with development teams and ensure compliance with ITIL practices.
