Harris Company is seeking a skilled Chiller Mechanic to service and troubleshoot commercial chillers and central plant equipment in the Shreveport area. You will diagnose issues, repair chillers from major brands, and work with EMS/BMS controls to support reliable operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and 10–15 years of hands-on experience with complex HVAC systems. Travel to diverse sites, strong diagnostic skills, and precise record-keeping are essential for success.

Qualifications

High School diploma required.
10–15 years of relevant trade experience preferred.
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial chillers and complex HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial chillers, central plant equipment, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and VFDs.
Service centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers from major manufacturers.
Diagnose equipment issues, communicate findings with customers, and recommend practical repair solutions.
Operate with EMS controls, BACnet integrations, and large tonnage chilled water systems.
Maintain accurate service records and perform quality repairs to minimize repeat calls.
